Missions and map

The mission is where your time turns into progress. Picking the right one matters more than any other call you make in a day.

The map

The map is a trail: each node is a mission, each mission has an enemy, and the next arc opens when the current one's final boss falls.

Top of the Mission Map with the status legend and the numbered arcs, the unreleased ones padlocked.
Each arc is a button. The ones that have not opened show a padlock, and the legend above says what each mission colour means.
  • The mission marked Recommended is the one that pays your leader's level best at that moment. When in doubt, take it.
  • A mission in an arc that has not opened yet shows a padlock.

The arcs

The beta opens the first three arcs, covering level 1 to 300:

ArcLevel rangeMissions
Land of Waves, the Chunin Exam and the Invasion1 a 10023
Hunting the Sannin and the Rescue of Sasuke100 a 20017
Rescuing the Kazekage200 a 30016
Three mission cards from arc 1, each with the enemy's art, level, element and category.
Every mission states the enemy's level, element and category up front. That is what you pick your leader against.

What a kill pays

Every enemy that falls pays immediately, without waiting for the skirmish to end:

  • XP for the leader, worked out from the mission's level. A higher mission pays more, which is why staying on one that is too low costs you dearly.
  • Loot, which goes to your bag and becomes Copper Coin when you sell it. Each item's price follows the level of the enemy that drops it.
  • Chakra Fragments, if the Extractor is on, and equipment, at the odds in the table further down this wiki.

Chakra Extractor

The Extractor is the only source of Chakra Fragments inside a fight, and Fragments are what you summon with.

  • Switched on, it gives a 1% chance per regular enemy killed, and 5% on a boss.
  • A boss only pays with the Special Extractor: the regular one does not work against it.
  • Every kill with the mode on consumes one unit of stock, hit or miss. Empty stock switches the mode off by itself.
  • The chance does not grow with the arc. It is the same at the start and at the end of the game, on purpose.

The pace of encounters

Enemies show up every 3 to 10 seconds. One that arrives while you are still fighting joins a queue, and the queue has no cap: a long fight leaves two or three of them waiting.

That is what sieges are for. The ones that piled up all fight at once rather than one by one, and there is no limit to how many.

Hunt Analyzer

The Analyzer is the window that answers whether a mission is worth it. It shows the session's balance (what the loot paid minus what supplies cost) and the hourly rates of coin, XP and kills. A negative balance means you are spending more on Extractors and Kits than the mission gives back.

Offline Mode

Offline Mode is a button you press. While it is on, the server simulates real fights, one by one, with the leader's HP carrying over between them:

  • The window runs up to 24 hours.
  • Everything it pays comes 50% short: XP, loot, equipment and Fragments. The Extractor, though, is charged in full.
  • If your leader dies in the first fight, you get nothing. Offline Mode is not safe on a mission you cannot hold yet.
  • It unlocks arcs and counts mission wins toward the Chunin Exam, the same as live combat.
